Village Hall Render Removal and Linen Silicone Rendering in Earswick, York
Recently Rendered York was appointed to carry out external rendering work at Earswick Village Hall on behalf of Earswick Parish Council, replacing the old, failed render with a modern, durable silicone render system.
The existing render had deteriorated and required complete removal before a new rendering system could be installed. Our team carefully removed the old material back to a sound substrate, ensuring the walls were properly prepared for the replacement finish.
Once the preparation work was complete, we applied a two-coat mesh-reinforced base coat system, providing a strong and durable foundation while helping minimise the risk of future cracking.
The final stage involved applying a premium 1.5mm grain Linen silicone render, giving the village hall a fresh, clean appearance while providing excellent water-repellent properties and long-term protection against the Yorkshire weather.
The completed project has transformed the entrance to Earswick Village Hall, providing a smart, modern finish that complements the character of the building.
