We’re here to make your rendering project simple and straightforward.

If you cannot find the answer below, get in touch and tell us about your property.
The most suitable system depends on the construction of your property, the condition of the existing walls and the finish you want to achieve.
Silicone render provides a flexible, breathable and modern finish. Monocouche creates a thicker, through-coloured scraped finish, while cork render offers a breathable and flexible coating for suitable exterior walls.
We inspect the property before recommending the most appropriate system.
Silicone render is a thin, flexible and water-repellent finish applied over a prepared and reinforced basecoat. It is available in a wide choice of colours and finer textures.
Monocouche is a thicker, cement-based render with the colour incorporated throughout the material. It is scraped back during application to produce a more traditional textured finish.
Both are durable options, but the best choice depends on the property and appearance required.
New render can sometimes be applied over an existing surface where the original render remains stable, firmly bonded and suitable for overcoating.
Loose, hollow or badly cracked areas must be removed and repaired first. The walls may also require cleaning, primer, reinforcement mesh or a new basecoat.
We assess the existing render before deciding whether it can be retained.
Not always.
Where the damage is limited to isolated areas, it may be possible to remove and repair only the failed sections before refurbishing the elevation.
Complete removal may be recommended where the render is extensively hollow, loose or badly cracked. Removing it back to brickwork also allows the underlying walls to be inspected and properly prepared before a new system is installed.
Yes. Scaffolding is normally required for upper-storey elevations and full-property rendering projects.
We can coordinate suitable scaffolding as part of the work and make sure it provides the access needed for preparation, rendering and finishing.
Any scaffolding requirements will be clearly explained within your quotation.
The cost of rendering a house depends on the size and height of the property, the condition of the existing walls, the preparation required and the render system selected. Scaffolding, repairs and the removal of old or failed render can also affect the final price.
Send us photographs of the property for an initial assessment, and we can advise on the likely work involved before arranging a site survey and written quotation.
The timescale depends on the size of the property, the amount of preparation required, the render system being installed and the weather conditions.
A small extension may take several working days, while a full-house rendering project can take a few weeks where old render must be removed, repairs completed and a reinforced basecoat system installed. We will provide an estimated schedule with your quotation.
Cork render is a breathable and flexible exterior coating made using natural cork granules. It creates a lightly textured, coloured finish and can be used to refresh tired render, brickwork and suitable pebbledash.
Where the existing pebbledash is stable and firmly bonded, spray cork may be applied after the correct cleaning, repairs and preparation. This can provide a more affordable and less disruptive alternative to hacking all the old render back to brick. Loose, hollow or badly damaged areas must still be removed and repaired before the coating is applied.
